Belper And Morley Park Railway, Sunday Afternoom Heritage Walk
24th September 2017
(Start at 2pm at Openwoodgate Crossroads (DE56 0SD))
This two mile walk id lead by Trevor Griffin. It follows the early horse-worked railway which brought coal to Belper then follows the final alignment, with the rope-worked incline into the Henmore valley finally returning along the winding course to clime out. Some stiles and rough ground.
Meet at Openwoodgate Crossroads (DE56 0SD) for a 2pm start. Adults £4 but accompanied children under 16 FREE.
