Radio Banska In Concert

(Doors open at 7:00 pm for 7:30 pm start)
Radio Banska rip up the file marked ‘genre’ and throw the resultant musical confetti in the air for all to dance around in! This instrumental world jazz quintet play a stunning array of genre-defying Latin, east European, middle eastern and fusion compositions delivered with passion and style. They will take you on an exciting tour of musical influences from around the world, from Morocco, Jamaica and Buenos Aires to Paris, Budapest and the Balkans. The band is fronted by guitars and violin and ably supported by double bass and a great percussion section, with numbers that speed up to drive dancers into ecstasy, haunting, exotic minor key melodies, unusual time signatures, it is music to dance to, it’s a celebration!
Crich Glebe Field Centre is fully wheelchair accessible, with plenty of on-site parking. There will be a licensed bar, with light refreshments available from 7 pm.
