Multiple car thefts in Ripley over the weekend.
Derbyshire Constabulary have released information on three vehicle thefts that have happened over the weekend. The first was a theft of vehicle occurred on the car park on Cemetery Lane, between Friday 14th and Monday 17th September. The offender took the vehicle by unknown means. It is an orange Ford Transit panel van, registration FD56XCJ. Crime 40347/12. The second occurred on Heage Road, between Thursday 13th and Friday 14th September. The offender took a white and red Sachs scooter, registration FJ10JFA, from outside the address. Crime 39990/12.
The third occurred on Crossley Street, overnight between Friday 14th and Saturday 15th September. The offender removed the clamp and padlock securing ladders on the roof of the vehicle and then took the ladders. Crime 40015/12. It is not known if these thefts are linked. However, If you have any information regarding these incidents contact the Ripley Town Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101 quoting the relevant crime number.
