Ripley man jailed after drug overdose death
A Ripley man has been jailed after another man died from a drug overdose at his house.
Darren Wielowski, 40, admitted injecting heroin into the arm of 36-year-old Richard Peake at his home in Derby Road, Ripley on September 27, 2011.
Mr Peake, of Laurel Avenue, Ripley died shortly after as a result of an overdose.
Wielowski pleaded guilty to administering a noxious thing so as to endanger life. He was sentenced to 30 months in prison following a hearing at Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday, June 26.
